Took part in Beyond Extents 2026 Spring Team Challenge, based on this seasons theme prompt - Kingdom Below.
.
For this challenge I decided to take responsibility in creating the materials for my team, as I wanted to take the opportunity to push my ability in developing texture workflow abiding to PBR values. Pushing my understanding in how albedo and luminance values can affect the lighting of a project in real time rendering. Learnt a lot from this pursuit in the last 5 weeks giving me more confidence to my understanding of PBR Values in a technical level, not just from an artistic viewpoint.
.
Credit to the rest of my team who each showcased their unique skillsets in coming up with the projects and for helping me learn more the technicalities of material art, which resulted in us coming in 2nd place in the realistic category.
